The word cartoon has various meanings, based on several very different forms of visual art and illustration. The term has evolved over time.
The original meaning was in fine art, and there cartoon meant a preparatory drawing for a piece of art such as a painting or tapestry.
The somewhat more modern meaning was that of humorous illustrations in magazines and newspapers. Even more recently there are now several contemporary meanings, including creative visual work for print media, for electronic media, and even animated films and animated digital media.
When the word cartoon is applied to print media, it most often refers to a humorous single-panel drawing or gag cartoon, most of which have captions and do not use speech balloons. The word cartoon is not often used to refer to a comic strip.
The artists who draw cartoons are known as cartoonists.

Some men believe that women gravitate toward men who are aggressive when it comes to putting their bid in. This is not always the case. Most women like a man who can control his emotions, who has developed a sense of knowing when and how to be aggressive and who has learned when to ease off the gas and cruise in for the catch. There is a fine line between eager and desperate, just as there is between obsessive and aggressive.

Birthday is the name given to the date of the anniversary of the day of a person’s birth. People in many cultures celebrate this anniversary. In some languages, the word for birthday literally translates as “anniversary”. Birthdays are traditionally marked by celebrations including a birthday party or, in some particular cases, a rite of transition.
There are few days in a person’s yearly life that is more important than their birthday. The birthday is a celebration of when a person came into the world and the contributions that person has made and will continue to make. While the contributions do not have to be as grand as running a country or finding the cure for a devastating illness, people do like to be remembered, most especially on their birthday, for anything that they take pride in doing or place value on.
